I have to be honest with you. Meditating changed my life.
It helped me to overcome my insomnia. It allowed me to build a successful business. And it made me happier and more content. But that’s not all.
It also had a positive effect on my relationship.
A couple of months ago, I had a terrible argument with my girlfriend. Back then, we used to argue a lot. This was also a time when I didn’t know anything about meditation and its power.
After one of our arguments, I searched for a solution to my problem. I knew that my reckless behavior and my inflated ego were responsible for the stress in our relationship. I knew that I had to change.
Then I talked to a friend who practiced meditation.

It sounds cheesy and like a cliché that your mom used to tell you, but it’s the truth. I swear. You can’t expect someone to love you when you can’t even love yourself.
Unfortunately, there was a time when I didn’t love myself. Like I already said, my behavior was reckless and my ego was inflated. And a big ego is not the same as healthy self-love. I had to learn this the hard way.

Well, everyone has different priorities, but I think you agree with me when I say that your relationship, your family, your friends, and your business are important parts of your life.
Now that I meditate regularly, I have the focus to spend my time with the people I love and with things that contribute to my growth.
In other words, I spent my time developing my business and enjoying the presence of my girlfriend.

Meditation has so many health benefits.
It can help you to heal from chronic pain. It can help you with your headache. And it can even cure mild forms of depression.
I don’t say that I was a complete wreck, but I have to admit that my lifestyle was anything but healthy. I ate too much sugar, had sleeping problems and I had days when I didn’t want to leave the house.
Meditation helped me to become healthier and in the process my relationship became healthier too.
I smiled more. I wanted to do more things and experience adventures. I was finally ready to live my life to the fullest and my girlfriend was more than happy about this.
I think we traveled more within the past three months than within the past three years. Our relationship is no longer boring. It’s exciting and I love every second of it.

Instead of wasting my time with YouTube videos, I can make the conscious decision to spend time with the woman I love.
Instead of looking at Instagram accounts of famous Playboys, I make the conscious decision to control my ego and to value and appreciate the relationship with my girlfriend.
Once I had the power to make the best possible decisions, it was easy to maneuver my life and my relationship in the best possible direction.
