Following the publication of a cryptic tease on his Instagram account, rapper and TV producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has given rise to rumors that he is working on a Grand Theft Auto project that is connected to Vice City in some way.
He remarked, "I will explain this later," next to a picture of a logo for Vice City that was rendered in a bright pink color. "Trust me, this s*** is larger than POWER," the speaker said.
Despite the fact that Jackson is most known for his work in music, he has gained even more renown in recent years because to the enormous success of the criminal drama TV series Power, in which he acted and also executive produced.
The series Power completed its last season in the year 2020, but since then, it has been followed by a number of spin-offs, one of which centered entirely on Samuel L. Jackson's role in the original series.
As a result of Jackson's remark and the fact that he said that whatever this is, it's greater than his last TV project, speculation has arisen that he is teasing a new Grand Theft Auto television program that will focus on Vice City.
Other rumors have focused on the possibility that Michael Jackson will simply play a role in the upcoming installment of Grand Theft Auto, which is known to be set in a contemporary version of Rockstar's notorious Vice City, which is itself a fictional version of Miami due to leaks and various reports. This information was obtained through various sources.
Rockstar has shown reluctance in the past to develop any form of Grand Theft Auto adaptation; in fact, they previously notoriously turned down a GTA film proposal starring Eminem.
Yet, it was over twenty years ago, and things may be different today, in an age in which The Last of Us is one of the most popular television programs in the whole world. In any case, given Jackson's work on Power, the position seems like an obvious choice for him to fill.
Jackson is also no stranger to the realm of video games, having most notably appeared in the video game 50 Cent: Blood on the Beach, which was released in 2009.
When Jackson promises that he'll explain everything later, how much later will we have to wait until he does so? At this point, we do not anticipate the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 for at least another couple of years.
